Project Sneh rolled-out by JSPL Foundation in Angul

Pursuing the vision of its President Smt. Shallu Jindal, JSPL Foundation launched Project Sneh in Jindal Home, built by Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL), in Angul for holistic nurturing of the children who do not have the privilege of having parental care on dated 8/7/2016. Under this project the Foundation will provide nutritious food, monthly health check-up facility and two years free industrial training to all the inmates in Jindal Home, managed by Adruta Children Home. “We visualise to reach out every child who does not have the umbrella of parental care for his/her holistic nurturing. Project Sneh is one of our many initiatives to shape up the lives of those children, who need us now, so that they are brought up well to take good care of my Country’s future,” said Smt. Shallu Jindal.

The nutritious food will be provided everyday three times to the inmates. Food for new-borns is also included under this project. And every month a doctor will visit the children home for health check- up. All the 10th Passed out inmates of the children home will be provided free industrial training up to two years at OP Jindal Community College (OPJCC), Angul. Under this project, already two eligible students have been admitted in OPJCC for ITI training in Fitter trade. About 100 inmates of the children home will be benefited by this programme of JSPL Foundation.
