Jindal School, Barbil Student Devika Pillai Wins National Kenken Championship Title

Devika Pillai, a student of Class – VII, Jindal School, Soyabali Barbil has again brought laurels by becoming one of the National Champions of India in prestigious Kenken Puzzle test to represent the country in International round. Five students from different schools of India including Devika have completed the entire three National rounds successfully and secured the Title of Kenken Champions from India. All the National Champions will participate in the International round scheduled to be held at New York on 18th December 2016. JSPL Barbil Unit Head & EVP Mr. T S Shanbhogue congratulated to Devika and her parents on her success and wished her all success in future. It may be noted here that a talented & meritorious student of Jindal School Devika had secured first position in Kappa Category (Grade 6-9) and first runner up in KenKen World Championship held in New York on 31 st May, 2015. She has also won 3rd prize at National level Story Writing Competition organised by Scholastic India Private Ltd. Devika is the daughter of Mr. Suresh Kumar E.R , Head Master and Mrs Sreelekha Pillai, Mathematics teacher of Jindal school, Barbil.
