Project Parivartan” Starts At JSPL, Angul

Human Resource department at JSPL, Angul kicks off a new project called ‘Parivartan’ or Transformation. With the radically growing complexities of turbulence effecting the external business environment, no strategic decision can prove its worth as an absolute decision and the project Parivartan is one of its kind interventions under the L&OD purview that is initiated to design & implement a structured development plan exclusively for its employees in the workmen force.

This programme initiated by the Human Resources department of JSPL, Angul, is based on the principles of PREACH that builds on Knowledge Sharing and Employees Grooming through Proactive, Reach, Enrich, Awaken, Counsel & Highlight. As a part of this process, the senior executives working as representatives of specific work area will be assigned with some workers pertaining to their domain and would be trained, mentored and enriched by them. For this, a complete framework of the guidelines has been developed and that will assist the Gurus or mentors in effective mentoring.

The progress and development of the workers would be monitored on a periodic basis against set parameters.

There is also a scope for need based technical training in which the worker can get into after completion of various behavioral learning sessions required in the path of self development and professional success. Around 350 new entrants working at various functional areas have enrolled in the maiden Batch "April-Parivartan Batch" .
