Achievements Of JSPL, Tensa During The Year 2015-16: Key Highlights

Tensa has achieved the highest Iron Ore Production and dispatch to meet its customer’s requirement and satisfaction in the preceding year. It has also put their sincere efforts towards their cost control and succeeded in keeping the cost parameter well within the ABP.

The OB and ROM produced during the 2015-16 surpassed its proposed target in the ABP. The OB produced 6.34 MT against its target of 2 MT and the ROM produced 2.92 MT against its target of 2.5 MT.

The team has also recorded a good volume of dispatch to Raigarh and Barbil, which is again marked as above the ABP target. It has dispatched 2.36 MT to Raigarh and 0.54MT to Barbil against the target of 2.25 and Nil to Raigarh and Barbil respectively.
It has also loaded 620 rakes against target of 600 rakes for Raigarh. At the same time, it has also received various statutory clearances from different government departments, includes CTO for 3.11 MTPA valid up to 2020, CTO for Barsua Railway Siding up to 2010 and working permission from Forest department up to 2020 with awards and accolades on Safety Week and Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation Week, it stood 1st for its Top Soil Management and 2nd for its Reclamation and Rehabilitation Management with Quality Circle awards for CCQC 2015 Gold Award Kolkata Chapter and NCQC 2015 Par Excellence Award.
